The drill powered Dewalt metal shear cutter nibbler makes short work of cutting 31 gauge galvanized metal roofing panels. The cuts perpendicular to the ribs was very clean. The cuts parallel to the ribs was acceptable but not as nice - plan to hide this edge under and overlap if possible.
Also tested it on thicker 29 gauge panels and it cut well.
Clean, quiet tool with no sparks/dusts or damage to coating that can occur with other methods (grinder, circular saw). Highly recommend for cutting metal roof panels.
