The original controls on a Harbor Freight Towable Backhoe are short and make finer adjustments more difficult. By extending the controls, you’ll have less jerky movements and operator fatigue. This quick modification can be completed with some threaded rods, coupling nuts, and threaded ball knobs (optional, you could also just use the original knobs).
I suggest using red threadlocker on all the threaded connections, especially the ball knobs, to prevent them from spinning loose during operation.
